Serve at Resurrection

God has gifted each of us with abilities to serve others.  He has also created us to use those gifts to fulfill our own lives as well as the lives of others in our community.  Below are a few ways you can get involved and use your gifts in the life of the church.

Worship Band

Mike Yarick leads the worship band and would love to get to know you. If you play an instrument or love to sing, Mike is ready to meet you after worship on Sunday. Or, use the button below to share your interests.

Tech Booth

If you have an interest in learning the
sound board, media computer, lights or camera during worship, we’d love to hear from you. Connect with Mike Yarick following worship on Sunday. Or, use the button below to share your interests.

Kids Ministry

If you love kids, this is the ministry for you. Our children’s team has the opportunity to share God’s love in a direct and tangible way. You have the option of working with many different age ranges. No experience is necessary – just a willingness to serve. Stop at the Kids Ministry check-in table on Sunday. Or, use the button below to share your interests.

Disaster Response

Hurricane Melissa made landfall as a Category 5 storm in Jamaica. When natural disasters happen, we sometimes wonder, “What can I do?”

One of the beautiful ministries of the United Methodist Church is UMCOR (The United Methodist Committee on Relief).  When natural disasters and other emergencies happen, UMCOR mobilizes. 100% of your donation goes directly to help the people impacted by the disaster.

You can support the ministry of UMCOR in three ways:
1. Pray
2. Donate
3. Share

Christianity and World Religions Study

Explore four major world religions with Adam Hamilton!

Pastor and best-selling author Adam Hamilton returns to one of his most popular topics, Christianity and world religions. This new, fully updated book explores four major world religions—Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, and Judaism—and compares the beliefs of each with those of Christianity. He deals openly and honestly with questions people ask about other religions, such as:

  • Why are there so many different religions?
  • How should Christians view other religions?
  • How is God at work in other religions?
  • What is the fate of those who earnestly pursue God through other religions?

In examining these major world religions and the beliefs of their followers, Hamilton urges us as Christians to build bridges with others so that we might grow in our faith, seek peace in our world, love our neighbors, and find positive ways to share the gospel.
